Jharkhand received 76% excessive rain in June compared to the normal average rainfall for the month of June.
Indian Meteorological Department said that Jharkhand has received 243.9mm rainfall this year amidst cyclone Yaas between June 1 and June 24, which is 76% more than the normal average rainfall of 138.3mm in the state for the month of June.
