Drugs Worth Rs 1 Crore Seized By Gumla And Ranchi Drugs Control Department In Joint Raid.

The Gumla and Ranchi teams of Drugs Control Department jointly raided Nayatoli Simlia on Tuesday and seized drugs worth one crore. However, the drug dealers Ambuj Singh from Bodeya Kanke, Ritesh alias Chhotu Singh and Mantu Singh from Nayatoli Simlia were successful in escaping. Police managed to recover Ambuj Singh’s bike (JH01 CX4053) from the house of a person named Lokesh Singh.

While the police were checking in Raidih (Gumla), two people were caught when they started fleeing on seeing the police. Both were drunk and a carton full of drugs was recovered from the car. Police interrogated both of them and as per details given, a police team first raided the warehouse built in Ramchandra Mahato’s shop in Nayatoli Simlia. The shop had been taken on rent by Ambuj Singh and he had built a warehouse in it.

The team seized about 40 thousand bottles of drugs, tablets, injections kept in 250 cartons from this warehouse. The total market value of the seized items is around one crore rupees. Department officials seized the drug and registered a case under NDPS Act at Ratu police station. The drugs seized by the drugs control department team from the warehouse are Kodarex, Simplex, Onrex, N10, Tramadol, Fansirex, Racecuff, Pentozocin Ridoff Injection.
