From the academic session 2021, the Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) has decided that girl students will not have to pay fees for enrollment in any of the courses. This decision has been taken with the aim of promoting higher education of girls in view of the pandemic situation across the country. This online application process has started from Monday. At present, it is being started with MTech and MBA courses. It is available on the official website www.cuj.ac.in.
Last date to apply for the application process is 27th June.
According to the admission in-charge of the university, Dr G P Singh, the applications for admission are being invited for the academic session 2021-22 on the basis of GATE and CAT scores in Engineering & Technology and MBA. The applications are also being invited for the Master of Business Administration. In CUJ, MTech includes five subjects- Nanotechnology, Energy Engineering, Transport science & Technology, Computer science & Technology and Water Engineering and Management. Apart from these courses, 24 more courses are available in the Postgraduate level and 2 more courses at the Undergraduate level.
Vice Chancellor of CUJ, Prof. R. K. Dey said that girl students will not have to pay application fee for admission to any of the courses. This relaxation will be applicable to all the categories of general and reserved students. The University is also considering giving relief to families in which the sole breadwinner has died of Corona virus and providing other relaxation too in view of this pandemic.
