Ranchi-Howrah Shatabdi Express will soon start running between Ranchi to Kolkata. Railways will soon issue notification for the same. The train will run on all days of the week except Sunday.
The Railway Board has also approved Puri-Anand Vihar special train to run from October 9. Train number 02875 Puri-Anand Vihar Special train will start from Puri, Odisha every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from October 9. It will leave Puri at 10:55 am. It will reach Tatanagar at 19:30 and has a stoppage time of 10 minutes. This train will arrive at Muri at 22:10 stopping for 2 minutes, arrive at Bokaro Steel City at 23:15, with stoppage time of 10 minutes. The train will reach Gaya in Bihar at 03:10 and leave Gaya station at 03:15 and will reach Anand Vihar terminal at 21:35.
Train number 02876 Anand Vihar-Puri special train will start every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The train will depart from Anand Vihar terminal at 6:30 am. The train will reach Gaya late at 00:15 with a stoppage time of 5 minutes. The train will reach Bokaro Steel City at 4:30 am and will leave at 4:35 am, will arrive in Muri at 5:28 pm and depart at 5:30 pm. This train will reach Tatanagar station at around 7.30 am and Puri at 16:50 pm.
The special trains will have a total of 22 coaches with 2 luggage coaches, 2 general class coaches, 12 sleeper coaches, 4 air-conditioned three-tier coaches, 1 air-conditioned two-tier coach and 1 pantry vehicle coach.
