Amidst the rising Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand, Palamu MP VD Ram, from his local development funds has liberated ₹15 lakh each for Palamu and Garhwa districts. In order to extend his support in the ongoing fight against pandemics, Palamu MP has released ₹30 lakh to provide a sufficient supply of oxygen and medicines for the treatment of patients.
On Sunday, the MP said, “The nation is battling against the Covid-19 pandemic. This has put an enormous load on the existing health infrastructure. So, in a bid to extend my support, I have released ₹15 lakh each to Palamu and Garhwa from my local development fund. ”
“The fund will be used to ensure the supply of oxygen and Remdesivir injection to Covid-19 patients. If needed, I will release more funds so that the needy patients do not suffer” he further added. Ram has also requested the district administrations of Palamu and Garhwa to grant approval without delay.
As per the sources, till Saturday night, the number of active cases in Palamu is 258, while in Garhwa, there are 278 active cases of Covid-19.
