Jharkhand Reports 230 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally Rises to 1,08,388

Jharkhand reported 230 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24-hours taking the total caseload in the state to 1,08,388.

The State Health Bulletin on Friday reported that three more patients succumbed to the infection, pushing the death toll to 961 in the state. One death each was reported from Ranchi, Deoghar and Bokaro.

Ranchi district reported the highest number of new cases at 64, followed by East Singhbhum at 32, Dhanbad at 25 and Bokaro at 20.

The state now has 2,169 active coronavirus cases, while 1,05,258 people have been cured of the disease so far.

Jharkhand has tested 17,598 samples for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate in the state currently stands at 97.11 percent.
