Jharkhand High Court Orders to Keep Answer Books of JPSC Main Exam Safe

Jharkhand High Court has directed Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) to keep all the answer sheets of 6th JPSC Main Examination securely. The answer sheets are to be kept securely till the hearing of the case is over.

Hearing a petition challenging the final result of 6th JPSC main examination, Justice SK Dwivedi instructed JPSC to provide the address of all the successful candidates to the petitioner so that they can be made defendants in this case.

Representing petitioner Dilip Kumar Singh, Advocate Vikas Kumar informed the court that a public notice was issued to all 326 successful candidates as per the order dated 24 September 2020. 263 candidates have so far filed their Vakalatnama in the High Court. After this, the court directed the petitioner to file an amended petition making all the successful candidates as defendants.

It may be noted that Dilip Singh and others had filed a petition against JPSC alleging irregularities in the final result of the 6th JPSC Examination.

The next hearing in this case will be on 18 January 2021.
