Jharkhand High Court on Monday ordered to fill the vacant reserved posts of primary teacher in 11 non-scheduled districts of Jharkhand. Advocate Sanjay Piparwal, who appeared on behalf of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee (JSSC), told the court of Justice SK Dwivedi that the state government had reserved 25 percent seats for primary teachers in six subjects, including Hindi, English, Mathematics. Those posts were left vacant. He informed that the Government of Jharkhand had given an order on August 29, 2019, to take action related to the appointment on vacant posts and JSSC is working on it.
After hearing both the parties, the High Court ordered the state government to fill the vacant posts soon. Virender Kumar had filed a writ petition in which requested to fill the vacant posts of primary teachers in non-scheduled districts.
1500 candidates from 11 non-scheduled districts will benefit from the order. These districts include Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Koderma, Giridih, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Godda, Deoghar. There are vacant posts in subjects including Hindi, English, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Biochemistry, History, Civics.
