Bokaro girl bagged the first female DSP position in Bihar Police after clearing BPSC in her first attempt.

Razia has recently cleared BPSC exam and become the first female DSP of bihar after a long wait of four years. Razia achieved this in the recently held Bihar Public Union Commission (BPSC) examination.

Razia Sultan is originally from Ratanchak of Hathua in Gopalganj district. Razia’s father, Lt. Md. Aslam Ansari was a resident of Siwandih in Bokaro. Aslam Ansari was an ex employee of Bokaro Steel Plant. He passed away in 2016. At present the entire family is living in Bokaro. Her mother is a homemaker.

Razia Sultan has been a student of Bokaro. Razia completed her studies from class 1 to 12 from Bokaro Public School; passed Matriculation in 2009 and Plus Two in 2011.

Currently she’s pursuing Electrical Engineering from Jodhpur and working as an Assistant Engineer in Electricity Department since 2017. Razia was very intelligent in studies right from her initial grades and always stood first in her class.
She has given credit for this success to the teachers of her school, who guided her from elementary school till 12th standard. Right now she is in Patna.

When Razia comes back to Bokaro, the Bokaro Public School family will honour her for this achievement. Razia says that she is currently working as an Assistant Engineer in the Electricity Department. She prepared for BPSC with a job but there was a problem. The BPSC coaching in Patna was done in Hindi in which she was not very comfortable. In such a situation, she decided to prepare for it by herself from home through English medium and succeeded in her first attempt.
