Action will be taken against the officer for playing with the future of children.

The Education Department has taken action against six District Superintendents of Education for not starting the process of delivery of books to children of session 2021-22. The books are available in all districts but still the officers have failed to reach children, despite the order having been issued in February itself. The reason given by the officers in this regard is also not satisfactory.

Director, Jharkhand State Education Project Council, Shailesh Kumar Chaurasia has given orders to take action against the District Superintendents of Education of Hazaribagh, Khunti, Koderma, Palamu, Simdega and West Singhbhum by withholding their salary for being irresponsible in their work. Until all the children get the books, the salary of those people will remain withheld. Also the DC has been asked to monitor the arrangements of book distribution.
