With patients recovering from corona infection, the total number of active corona-positive cases in the state has now come down to 6200. Less than 500 new corona patients were found for the second consecutive day in Jharkhand. Out of 28908 tests, 490 people were found positive, while 769 people recovered from the infection. On the previous day, 385 new cases had been reported. One patient each from Bokaro, Deoghar and East Singhbhum died in the course of treatment. The total number of corona cases has now gone up to 96842. Of these 89780 patients have since recovered while 862 corona patients died in the state.
Ranchi had the highest number of new cases with 152. No new cases were reported from Chatra and Pakur. Less than 100 patients were found in other districts with 77 in Bokaro, 20 in Deoghar, 31 in Dhanbad, 6 in Dumka, 52 in East Singhbhum, 10 in Garhwa, 4 in Giridih, 6 in Godda, 12 in Gumla, 15 in Hazaribagh, 4 in Jamtara, 26 in Khunti, 7 in Koderma, 8 in Latehar, 5 in Lohardaga, 4 in Palamu, 29 in Ramgarh, 8 in Sahibganj, 21 in Saraikela Kharsawan, 1 in Simdega and 10 in West Singhbhum.
769 patients in the state recovered from Corona. The recovered include 24 from Bokaro, 27 from Chatra, 25 from Deoghar, 29 from Dhanbad, 5 from Dumka, 60 from East Singhbhum, 10 from Garhwa, 10 from Godda, 18 from Gumla, 35 from Hazaribagh, 1 from Jamtara, 26 from Khunti, Nine of Koderma, 16 from Latehar, 8 from Lohardaga, 10 from Palamu, 27 from Ramgarh, 338 from Ranchi, 41 from Sahibganj, 15 from Seraikela Kharsawan, 10 from Simdega and 25 from West Singhbhum were included.
