The Tata group always takes care of their employees. In the first wave of covid-19 the company paid three months salary to the contractor workers and in the second wave of covid-19 Tata group decided to give half of the monthly payment to the family of the deceased till the employee’s retirement date.This payment will be different from the lump sum amount received as immediate relief to the family.
PM Balaji the Chief Financial Officer of Tata motors said – “If an employee dies prematurely due to corona or any other reason, his family will be paid a lump sum of 20 months basic salary (basic salary) 50% of basic salary will be available till the date of retirement. No less can be expected from the Tata company”.
He also said that – at present, 90 percent of our employees above 45 years have been vaccinated. We also have an insurance scheme for our employees and their family.

They’ve introduced a financial benefit scheme to the family of the deceased who died from Corona.
Bajaj Auto is providing a lump sum salary of two years to the dependents of the deceased and education fund for the education of children.
TVS Motors has also announced payment of three times the annual salary to the family of the deceased, as well as funds for education up to undergraduate to the children of deceased.
This initiative is being appreciated in these tough times of the crisis, family members will get a chance to recover.
