Special exercise has been run by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation for the last seven days to make the city clean and hygienic amid corona infection. The capital is being cleaned under this campaign. During this time, garbage lying in various places was picked up from many areas of the city, empty walls and ghats were decorated with colorful paintings.

Commissioner Mukesh Kumar has issued a helpline number. If the drains are blocked somewhere because of the rain and if no one is looking after the cleanliness or the waste wasn’t collected, then people can complain on this helpline number (0651-2200011) Within 48 hours of the complaint, the Municipal Corporation will conduct a special cleaning. The clogged drains or garbage of the area will be cleaned.

The small drains will be cleaned by the corporation and the big drains will be cleaned by JCB and the tractor which were dispatched from the Municipal Corporation office on Thursday. At the same time, big drains of all wards will be cleaned before the pre-monsoon.

Under this campaign, on Friday, Bara Lal Street of Ward No. 20, Old AG Colony in Ward No. 24, Anjuman Colony in Ward No. 15, Mani Tola in Ward No. 49, Ekta Nagar in Ward No. 52, Navatoli in Ward No. 18, Bargain. Near Market, Bank Colony of Ward No. 10, Harmu Housing Colony in Ward No. 26, Ratu Road Cemetery, Drains and drains were cleaned with the help of pay loaders and sanitation workers at places like Irugu Toli.
