Interviews were conducted for the post of the Senior Resident at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi on Tuesday. The departments for which interviews were conducted on the first day included the Department of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, Department of Paediatrics, Skin Diseases, Surgery, Orthopedic and Neurosurgery. A total of 34 Senior Residents are to be recruited for a period of 3 years in these 7 departments.
Among the departments for which interviews were conducted, the Department of Medicine will have the maximum number of recruitments with 9, while there would be 6 in Surgery, 5 in Orthopedic, 4 in Neurosurgery, 4 in Skin, 4 in Paediatric and 2 senior residents would be recruited for the Department of Psychiatry. 88 Senior Residents are to be recruited for 22 departments in RIMS.
RIMS campus saw a significant number of applicants on day 1. Interviews will be conducted for all vacant positions for all departments till November 12.
It is to be noted that a recruitment advertisement for the post of Senior Resident was published earlier too, however, it was cancelled and a new advertisement was published later.
