JMM supremo Shibu Soren (Guruji) is being taken to Delhi on Bhubaneswar-Delhi Rajdhani Express via Bokaro on Tuesday for better treatment of coronavirus. In addition to treatment for corona, he will also undergo a health checkup in addition to treatment at Medanta in Gurugram on Wednesday. Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself was present at Medanta Ranchi on Tuesday evening and went to Bokaro as well as Guruji boarded the train for Delhi. Briefing the media, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that Guruji’s heath was stable and there was nothing to worry about. Shibu Soren has had a medical history and he had not even undergone a routine health checkup for a year now, so he would get treatment as well as undergo health checkup in Medanta Gurgaon.
76-year-old Shibu Soren was admitted to Medanta Ranchi after being found infected with corona. He has been suffering from multiple ailments and had complained of breathing problems as well. Following the advice of doctors, he is being taken to Delhi by train. He was taken to Bokaro on an ambulance. A medical team is also aboard the special coach of Rajdhani Express with Shibu Soren and will take care of his health. They also have an adequate number of PPE kits. Shibu Soren tested positive for corona infection three days ago. He was under treatment in isolation in the supervision of doctors at home since his report came positive. Chief Minister Hemant Soren had informed about the reports of his father Shibu Soren and mother Roopi Soren coming positive. Earlier, several employees of his residence were found infected. With Shibu Soren’s health deteriorating, both were tested and reported positive.
Shibu Soren had been elected Rajya Sabha member two months ago. Due to health reasons, He could not go to Delhi to take oath as a Rajya Sabha member.
