Jharkhand’s infection rate drops down, still precautions to be taken.

Jharkhand has overtaken 27 states in the country after dealing with the deadly virus. Since last week (10-16 May) there has been a tremendous decrease in the infection rate by 7.01 percent. Jharkhand stands in third position nationwide in terms of reduction in infection.

Palamu records the highest infection rate in the state at 12.53 percent, while Sahibganj records the lowest infection rate of 1.59 percent. Latehar stands in second position with 11.42 percent of infection rate followed by East Singhbhum with 11.19 percent infection rate. Hazaribagh at 10.76 percent in fourth position, fifth position is secured by West Singhbhum with 10.76 percent. Bokaro is in sixth position with 10.29 percent, wild Ranchi at eleventh position with 7.28 percent infection rate.

The persistently increasing infection rate in Pakur has increased from 1.04 to 3.81 in four weeks.

Talking about other states, Telangana ranks second with infection rate at 7.01 (0.08 percent less) while Uttar Pradesh is in the best position with 6.67 percent which is currently the lowest in the country. On the other hand Goa has the highest infection rate with 37.94 percent. Karnataka with the second highest infection with 31.24 infection rate. West Bengal ranks third nationwide in the neighboring states of Jharkhand with a 29.73 infection rate. Orissa is ranked 10th with 21.21 percent, Chhattisgarh is 18th with 13.47 percent and Bihar is at 25th position in the country with 7.97 percent weekly infection rate.
