A deputation of Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) met chief minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday and yielded a wish list before the upcoming state Budget, which will be put forward in the assembly on March 3.
According to the statement issued after the meeting, FJCCI which is the parent organization of traders and entrepreneur of Jharkhand, said, it also advocated the Soren to setting up a land bank of 25 acre in each district for promoting the micro, small and medium enterprises. The deputation also advised the Government to set up a textile park in Santhal Pargana to draw attention toward the apparel sector.
The delegation has also adjured the CM to prepare a road map in order to resuscitate the 600 industrial units in state, which were shut down after running into huge losses. Also, the problems being faced by 107 start ups because of the state innovation lab were discussed. “The CM was informed about the negligence of government departments towards the state procurement policy clause,” said FJCCI President, Praveen Jain Chhabra.
FJCCI also proposed to bring in the a private power distribution company in order to provide quality power to the industrial units.
