India’s tour of England: Indrani Roy from Jharkhand gets maiden call-up.

BCCI on Friday announced the Indian women’s squad for the upcoming matches in which Indrani has been selected for the first time in India’s test and ODI women’s team after scoring two unbeaten centuries in the senior women’s one-day tournament, wherein Rajeshwari Gayakwad misses out due to an injury. The matches are scheduled to kick-start from June 16 in Bristol, followed by 3-match ODI series which starts from June 27. The team will be lead by Captain Mithali Raj for test and ODI series and T20 will be headed by Harmanpreet Kaur.

Mithali Raj (Captain), Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur (vice-captain), Punam Raut, Priya Punia, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia (wicket-keeper), Indrani Roy (wicket-keeper), Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey, Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bisht, Radha Yadav.

Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain) Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, Harleen Deol, Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia (wicket-keeper), Indrani Roy (wicket-keeper), Shikha Pandey, Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bisht, Radha Yadav, Simran Dil Bahadur.
