Jharkhand reported 216 fresh cases in the last 24-hours taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,08,786. The State Health bulletin also showed one death being reported from Ranchi. The state death toll now stands at 963.
Ranchi reported the highest number of case at 50 followed by East Singhbhum with 43 cases, Dhanbad with 26 and Bokaro with 24 cases. The total number of active cases in the state is now 2154 with 1,05,669 people being declared recovered and discharged. In the last 24-hours, 35,208 samples were tested for the COVID-19. The recovery rate in the state continues to do better at 97.13 compared to country’s 93.70%.
