UG And PG Final Semester Exams In BBKMU University To Be Completed By End Of October.

Vice Chancellor of Binod Bihari Mahato Kolanchal University, Dr. Anjani Kumar Srivastava has said that they are ready for the conducting examinations for the students in final semester of UG and PG. The examination for all the students of Dhanbad-Bokaro will be completed by the last week of October. He assured that exams will be conducted as soon as they get instructions from the government. The Vice Chancellor informed that UG Semester Six examination forms are being filled online. Other processes are also working in an online mode.

Earlier this week, the Higher Education Secretary of the state, Shailesh Kumar Singh, took feedback from all the university vice chancellors regarding the exam schedule. All the Vice Chancellors have spoken in favour of conducting the examinations. Some students had lodged a petition in the Supreme Court because of situation created due to corona pandemic. The students argued that due to the prevailing circumstances due to corona, the examination should not be conducted. The Supreme Court though has given the green signal in favour of conducting UG and PG final semester examinations.

On the UG and PG examinations, the Vice Chancellors said that permission from the State Disaster Management Authority and instructions from the State Government would be needed for the examinations. The Principal Secretary has asked the government to discuss the matter. According to reports, due to corona epidemic, BBMKU has announced to promote UG and PG students of semester one and three to the next semester on the basis of internal exams and previous exam results. The schools and colleges are closed till 30th September. In such a situation, if the government gives the go ahead, then the exams will be conducted in October. The focus of the university is now on the instructions of the state government.

BBMKU Examination Department released the results of three subjects of PG Semester Three. Controller of Examinations Dr. Satyajit Kumar Singh said that there have been 100% results in Botany, 94.9% in Physics and 99.05% in Zoology. Results of remaining subjects will also be released soon.
