‘Raahgir’ movie achieved two awards in UK Asian International Film Festival.

‘Raahgir’ movie receiving appreciation from all corners has now won two awards; Best Director Award (Goutam Ghose) and Best Actor Award (Tillotama Shome) on 6th June in London Festival. The UK Asian Film Festival took place between 26th May to 6th June. The movie has been shot at many places including Ranchi, Netarhat and other places in Jharkhand. The natural beauty of Ranchi and its surroundings give this movie an extra edge and bring fame to Jharkhand as well as India.

In addition, ‘Raahgir’ movie has been screened for a World Premiere at Busan International Film Festival and Premiere at Mumbai International Film Festival. It was also screened at shanghai International Film Festival, CinemAsia Film Festival Netherlands, Kolkata International Film Festival and at International Film Festival of Kerala.

According to the Film Producer, Amit Agarwal, it is the first film to be screened at the Film Festival; a matter of pride for the entire team of ‘Raahgir’ who have high hopes from the movie. In the Film, Adil Hussain (Life of Pi and Zed plus) has made his mark as the lead role. Apart from him, Tillotama Shome and Neeraj Kabi (Ship of Theseus, Sacred Games and Patal Lok) have also played the lead characters. The movie tells the story of three strangers who work as daily wage earners, working together for the betterment of humanity while battling difficult situations in their life.
