The pending salaries of 65 thousand para-teachers of Jharkhand the months of June and July will be paid in August. For the payment of honorarium for the month of June, information of all para-teachers and model school teachers has been sought from all districts.
State Project Director of Jharkhand Education Project Council, Shailesh Kumar Chaurasia, has instructed all district education officials to provide information by 2nd August. He said that the data for all the para-teachers and model school teachers has to be uploaded on the portal. The pending payments will be paid as soon as possible after this process is completed by 2nd August.
The salaries of para-teachers for the months of April and May has been released separately this month. The salaries for the month of June are still due. On the other hand, Sanjay Dubey, executive member of the Integrated Para Teachers Sangharsh Morcha said that the employees of all the departments of the state have been directed to release the salary for the month of July, but the payments of the para-teachers has been due since June. Not receiving the salary will affect how they spend the festival of Bakrid and Rakshabandhan with their families and dependents. Para-teachers have urged the Education Minister to ensure their honorarium payment before the festival.
