Medical Kits Worth 3.28 Crores Donated By Azim Premji Foundation to the Jharkhand Government.

The process of cooperation by various institutions and organizations to the Jharkhand state government for the prevention of coronavirus spread continues through various means. Along the same lines, medical kits whose total worth would be around 3.28 crore rupees were given by the Azim Premji Foundation to the Jharkhand Ministry via the Fia Foundation. These medical kits include 12,700 PPE kits, 20,300 N-95 masks, 5 TrueNet machines and 2 Thermo Fisher RNA extractor machines.

The Chief Minister thanked the Azim Premji Foundation for this gesture and said that with the cooperation of all, we will win in the ongoing war against Corona. The Chief Minister said that all the necessary resources are being used by the State Government for prevention from coronavirus and treatment of patients. People from every class and section of society are coming forward to help.

Representatives of the Fia Foundation told the Chief Minister that 2 thousand samples could be tested every day with Thermo Fisher RNA Extractor machine. The machine is being installed in RIMS, Ranchi and Itki Aarogyashala. At the same time, one thousand samples can be tested daily by the True net machine. Both these machines will check 3 thousand samples every day. In this way, the testing of corona samples in the state will be accelerated.
