Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express did not run through Dhanbad on Sunday in pre-Covid period. The train was run from Monday to Saturday. Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express ran daily. When Rajdhani Express started running from May 12 during the Corona period, it was allowed to run daily as Sealdah-New Delhi was not running. The passengers of Dhanbad got an alternate option for Sunday with Sealdah Rajdhani running. Hence, the railways have decided to run Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Patna on Sundays.
