Five Districts In Jharkhand May Soon Become Corona-Free; Number Of Active Patients Below 100

Five districts in Jharkhand may soon become corona free. The number of active corona patients in these districts has reached below 100 – 64 active cases have been reported in Deoghar, 92 in Godda, 53 in Pakur, 54 in Palamu and 61 in Sahebganj. The number of corona infected in Jharkhand though, has now increased to 93,736. However, a good sign is that 91.01 per cent of patients have recovered, while 837 deaths have been reported. There are 7617 active cases in the state currently. Two districts in the state have more than 1000 active patients – 1553 patients in East Singhbhum and 2557 in Ranchi.

633 new corona-infected patients were identified in the state on Wednesday. The maximum 263 patients were reported from Ranchi. 6 patients died which includes 2 each from Ranchi, Dhanbad, 1 each from East and West Singhbhum. 1053 patients recovered from infection. 44 cases were reported from Bokaro, 4 from Chatra, 17 from Deoghar, 30 from Dhanbad, 3 from Dumka, 59 from East Singhbhum, 8 from Garhwa, 6 from Giridih, 8 from Godda, 27 from Gumla, 21 from Hazaribagh, 3 from Jamtara, 20 patients from Khunti, 12 from Koderma, 2 from Latehar, 14 from Lohardaga, 11 from Pakamu, 2 from Palamu, 263 from Ranchi, 20 from Ramgarh, 2 from Sahibganj, 12 from Saraikela, 20 from Simdega and 25 from West Singhbhum.
