Spread of corona seems to be losing steam in Jharkhand. The last 10 days have seen less than less than 1000 positive cases reported daily in the state. 7861 new corona patients have been found in the state from October 2 to October 11, while 10,018 corona-infected people have been discharged from the hospital. The number of corona infected patients has gone up to 92,525 in the state but the recovery rate has crossed 90 percent. 83,571 patients, i.e. 90.32 percent patients have returned to their home after recovering from infection healthy. There are now 8167 active cases in various Covid centers of the state.
736 new cases were reported on October 2, 877 on October 3, 933 on October 4, 816 on October 5, 847 on October 6, 829 on October 7, 784 on October 8, 768 on October 9, 697 on October 10, 574 new cases were reported on October 11. In the last 24 hours, 286 cases were reported from from Ranchi, 47 from Bokaro, 7 from Chatra, 6 from Deoghar, 42 from Dhanbad, 1 from Dumka, 45 from East Singhbhum, 8 from Garhwa, 12 from Giridih, 9 from Godda, 15 from Gumla, 11 from Hazaribagh, 5 from Jamtara, 23 from Khunti, 19 from Koderma, 11 from Latehar, 1 from Lohardaga, 1 from Palamu, 6 from Ramgarh, 9 from Sahebganj, 5 from Seraikela, 2 from Simdega and 3 from West Singhbhum. At the same time, 766 patients recovered from infection in the state in last 24 hours while three people died from corona. These include two from Dhanbad and one from Jamshedpur. So far 819 people have died.
