Jharkhand Government extended the ongoing lockdown, till June 14. State health minister announced an extension of 2 hours in opening shops in 23 districts of the state except Jamshedpur. The state denied Jamshedpur district to open clothes, shoes, cosmetics and jewellery shops. The complete lockdown will start from Saturday 5 PM till Monday 6 AM.
A detailed information from the Jharkhand Government.
1. All shops in all districts are allowed to open till 4 pm, except East Singhbhum district.
2. Except for textile, shoe, cosmetic and jewellery all other shops are allowed to open till 4 pm in East Singhbhum district.
3. All government and private offices will be able to remain open till 4 pm with 1/3rd occupancy.
4. All shops (including vegetable-fruit-grocery shops) will remain closed from 4 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Monday. Establishments related to healthcare will remain open.
5. Home delivery of food from restaurants as well as take-away is allowed, but dinning is prohibited.
6. Shopping malls, cinema halls, clubs, bars, banquet halls, multiplexes, departmental stores will remain closed.
7. Stadiums, gymnasiums, swimming pools and parks will remain closed.
8. All educational institutions will remain closed.
9. Anganwadi centers will remain closed but food items will be provided to the beneficiaries at home.
10. There will be a ban on the gathering of more than 5 people.
11. A maximum of 11 persons can attend a marriage, use of loudspeakers/DJs/firecrackers are strictly prohibited and a maximum of 20 persons can attend a funeral.
12. Religious places will remain closed for devotees.
13. Prohibition on procession will continue.
14. The ban on bus transport will continue.
15. The examinations conducted by the state will remain postponed.
16. The ban on fairs and exhibitions will continue.
17. To go from one district to another by private vehicle, to come to Jharkhand from other state or to go from Jharkhand to other state, e-pass will be necessary.
18. Barring some exceptions, 7 days home quarantine will be mandatory for those coming to Jharkhand from other states.
19. Wearing of mask in public places and maintaining social distance is mandatory.
20. In case of violation of the order, action will be taken by registering an FIR under the relevant section of the Disaster Management Act.
Movement of persons is permitted from 5pm to 6am only with respect to activities permitted beyond 4 PM like air/rail travel, attending last rites and discharge of any duty related to control of covid19. The situation of Covid19 has been reviewed and it has been observed that there has been a fall in the number of new covid19 cases as well as fall in positivity but at the same time it is anticipated that gatherings and congregations may pose a considerable threat of spread of covid19.
