645 new cases of corona infection were been found in Jharkhand on Friday. With this, the total number of corona infected in the state has reached 35,321. Of the 645 new cases found on Friday, the highest 147 were from Bokaro, 5 were from Chatra, 14 from Dumka, 9 from East Singhbhum, 62 from Giridih, 30 from Garhwa, 11 from Godda, 15 from Gumla, 36 from Hazaribagh, 50 from Khunti, 17 from Lohardaga, 43 from Koderma, 3 from Pakur, 19 from Palamu, 21 from Ramgarh, 88 from Ranchi, 4 from Saraikela, 33 from Simdega and 19 from West Singhbhum. 3 people died in the state from coronavirus infection which included 1 each from Giridih, Koderma and Ranchi. A total of 381 people have died in the state from coronavirus infection so far.
The highest number of cases of Covid-19, 147 were confirmed in Bokaro district on Friday. 40 people returned to their homes from Bokaro General Hospital’s Covid-19 ward and District Covid Care Center. All of them were given a certificate from the Health Department team and were asked to stay in their respective homes under the SOP for 14 days in Home Quarantine. A total of 3349 samples were collected in Bokaro for testing. 1497 of these samples have been sent for RT-PCR testing, while 129 samples would be tested via True Nat test and 1723 from Rapid Antigen tests.
356 people in the state have recovered from corona on Friday. With this, the number of people who recovered from corona in Jharkhand reached 23,855. Among the 356 people, 12 are from Chatra, 17 from Dumka, 4 from Garhwa, 5 from Godda, 3 from Gumla, 34 from Hazaribagh, 36 from Khunti, 26 from Koderma, 27 from Latehar, 30 from Lohardaga, 52 from Palamu, 36 from Ranchi, 3 from Saraikela and 41 people from West Singhbhum.
